A campaign page hidden under a sheet that shoppers tear apart with their mouse or finger, driven by real cloth physics. Underneath is a gift card with a code they can copy and a QR code. A Skip button and the Escape key take anyone straight to it.
Promotions usually land on a page that looks like every other page, with the discount code as plain text. I built this on my demo store to make a campaign landing page, the kind you'd link from an email or an ad, feel like opening a present.
The shopper experience
Real cloth, torn by hand
The cover stretches, rips where it's pulled, and sways in a light breeze. Once enough is torn, the rest drops away. It works with a mouse or a finger.
The gift underneath
The revealed page shows the gift amount, a code with a one-tap copy button, a QR code for using it in store, and a button to start shopping.
Nobody gets stuck
Skip and the Escape key drop the cover instantly. Reduced-motion visitors get no wind and a fade instead of a fall, and older browsers get a simple cover that fades away.
What you control
Both the cover and the gift card are sections, so everything is set in the theme editor, with no code.
Turn the cover on or off, with separate images for wide and tall screens
Show it once per visitor or on every visit. Uploading a new cover shows it to everyone again
Set the gift's logo, heading, amount, message, and code, and choose whether to show the QR code
Point the shop button wherever the campaign should lead
Preview the cover in the editor only while it's selected, so it never gets in the way of editing
Adapting it to your store
For your store, I'd design the cover around your campaign and the season, connect the code to a real discount, and test the tear on the phones your customers will open it on.
